How far have we come with lawsuits in our society? Far enough so we now need to have “Caution – the hot coffee in this cup may be hot” and “Warning – this sharp knife might cut you” on obvious products. So far that we need other types of obvious disclaimers like “This doll does not actually talk” on commercials that take liberties in the name of advertising.
I was just watching one of the newer iPod nano commercials between innings and thought “Geez, I wonder how long it will take before someone sues Apple complaining that their nano doesn’t make colorful streaks in the dark or because their wheel doesn’t light up” like they do in the commercials…
That’s just sick.
Go Tigers!
And how are the Jets doing this year? :)
Jets suck. It’s expected though, they weren’t predicted to win 1 game this year and they’re 2-2.
Now that the Yankees are out, the playoffs are finally worth watching.
uh-huh.
Well, at least the Jets won 2 games. That’s twice as many as yer sucky yankees.
Gotta say that commercial looks cool as hell, if it did do that, I would totally buy one.
And yer point? Yankees won 96 games this season… lets see if the Jets stay above .500.
Again: I dont care. The yankees lost. That’s what rocks.
Yer mother. :)
Of course, it’s not fair. I mean I *would* say turnaround is fair play but your team would have to make the playoffs first and that hassn’t happened in a decade. Or was it two?
Apples and oranges. I dont give a shit if they win or not.
