Microsoft: Microsoft announced that its fall software update, scheduled for release later this year, will allow all Xbox 360 consoles around the world to output game and movie content in 1080p resolution.
1080p?! Where in the hell did that come from? I mean… I work in the damned group and even I didn’t know about it! And we announced it in Japan – makes me wonder if there’s any seppuku action in Sony’s HQ. Or if I need yet-another-new TV… uwah, no. No new TV!
Guess Apple isn’t the only company that can keep product plans secret …when they want to.
Hey this is another cool thing MS has been keeping hush about. For all you die hard fans that bought the self-destruct versions of the 360 at launch MS is now fixing them for FREE. Pretty nifty.
