Back to the hometown. It was snowing all along the i-95 corridor but it wasn’t sticking until I headed north, deeper into Connecticut. Then I hit my hometown, which was like crossing into a snow globe. Rented an SUV to drive up from JFK because of it, actually. Since I hadn’t read an email for over twelve hours, I had to get online – while talking to a friend in IM, I sent over a Weather.com link to share the current weather: 19 degrees/feels like 5 and it’s supposed to be 50-ish on Wednesday.
I don’t think people believed me, when I described winter in New England, but this is typical.
HEHEHEHE…. welcome back! Tis the season for nuts and fruitcakes… guess that includes the weather. Now, I have to go and shovel. It’s only 7 above and a windcill below zero. !@$@#$@#….
Welcome back to CT and to our lovely weather. Now I know why I couldn’t feel anything after shoveling for an hour. Enjoy the Holiday’s.:)
Better you than me.
It’s going to be 50 and rainy here in Seattle (surprise).
*grumble*
